When the Music Manifesto launched back in 2004, hundreds of signatories made pledges about the ways they were going to improve music education for young people, in line with the aims of the Manifesto.

From music services and schools to publishers, promoters and practitioners, from Classic FM to the BBC, you promised to work to create better opportunities for all children and young people to take part in quality music making, to strengthen the workforce and improve the support structures surrounding music education.

So, we want to know: what have we achieved? Have you all honoured the pledges you made? And how have you improved the landscape for music education in your area?

We've recently caught up with the British Urban Collective, Edujam and Future Talent, but we want to hear from you too.

What did you pledge, and how did it turn out? Even the smallest efforts can help move us one step closer to the ultimate aim of offering a top quality musical experience to every child in England.

The Music Manifesto is only as strong as its signatories, so let's remind ourselves what we set out to achieve and celebrate our work so far.

Get in touch and tell us all about what you've been doing to honour your pledge. Email news and photos to editor@musicmanifesto.co.uk
