Join in Music is an exciting new company, with a portfolio of music and history curriculum based workshops, working with schools throughout most of the Yorkshire region. WE AIM TO BRING LEARNING TO LIFE THROUGH MUSIC BY GIVING CHILDREN AND TEACHERS A PRACTICAL, HANDS-ON, CREATIVE AND INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE, WITH PERFORMANCE AS THE KEY ELEMENT. Workshop titles include: Music Since 1948, Victorian Music Hall, Music of World War Two, Name that Instrument (an introduction to musical instruments of all types), Blow Your Trumpet (an introduction to the world of brass instruments), Play that Rhythm (drumming and rhythm workshop) and Tune In (playing tunes on glockenspiels). Each workshop can lead to a quality concert, prepared and performed within the 1 or 2 days of the workshop.
