Making Tracks with the BBC Concert Orchestra

In Partnership with Orchestras Live, the BBC Concert Orchestra is performing new Making Tracks concerts in in Stevenage, Grantham and Norwich. The entertaining, educational and interactive concerts are aimed at 7 to 11-year olds and enhanced by big screen projections that help chidlren see right into the heart of the orchestra.

Resources and workshops are available for teachers prior to the performance to support children's enjoyment and learning.

Concerts include well-known works such as Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite alongside music for film and television, and children get the chance to join in with audience participation led by CBBC presenter Rani Price and conductor Robert Ziegler.

The children also get to sing with the BBC Concert Orchestra in a song from the Sing Up song bank, composed by Singing Ambassador Howard Goodall.
